Art-based dementia education in schools

In teaching children, we find that using art facilitates an open discussion about dementia, which is very important for the teaching staff. They might not be aware of the emotional changes involved in dementia, affecting children and families of those with dementia. Our sessions aim to provide children with an understanding of dementia through a sensitive and positive approach as part of our mission to reduce anxiety among individuals with dementia.
