Over 100 Jubilee Crowns were decorated at the Great Harwood Agricultural Show.

The My Colourful Memories CIC stand at the Great Harwood Show attracted over 300 visitors this year, with over 100 children decorating jubilee crowns in only four hours. The founder, Neil, says we started with approximately 100 crowns thinking we’d have plenty, but we couldn’t keep up, so we quickly began making crowns from spare paper to facilitate the demand. The children who participated in the activity also received free balloons.

Neil’s son Mason helped by interacting with the children and handing out balloons and leaflets.

Neil adds that My Colourful Memories CIC has attended two previous events in 2018 and 2019, but this was the busiest event he has attended. We started at 9 am and didn’t finish until around 4.30 pm. Here are a few of the jubilee crowns that were created on the day.
